Dennis McCurdy Music
I am a realist. I will never be a star. I will never have a "hit". I will never be on tour with people waiting in line to see me. I do. however, believe that over the years I have developed some ability to craft songs that are reasonably intelligent, humorous on occasion, and written from the heart and life experiences this heart has known. I am thrilled when an audience sings along with one of my tunes or when an artist covers one. That said, my new cd is out. It is not the Lonesome No More Band, it is with another group of friends, and it was those friends who sculpted this project. Many thanks to The Carpenter Ants with Michael Lipton and Charlie Tee (not to dismiss Ted Harrison and Jupie Little -they just aren't on facebook). I also thank Ammed Solomon for his contributions and my old friend Michael Stowe for his persistence in getting the harmonies right. It was the talent of Don Dixon that brought this all together and the final mixing of Tris Lozaw that completed it. Also, to my friend, sometime co-writer (Birmingham on this CD), and frequent editor, Bruce Hoffman, thank you for both your writing skills and your honesty. Especial thanks to Mj Isles McCurdy for managing the art work and overseeing the design and Andrew Dunmire for the design. Mj was primarily the one who kept pushing me to make this happen.
If you get the chance, go out and give it a listen and let me know what you think.
